Tale of a Tudor

Tale of a Tudor

When Heather reached out to us to turn her dining room into a charming farmhouse design that is warm and welcoming we were super excited. We worked to add a vintage inspired touch so Heather felt as though she stepped into an old country farmhouse upon entering her dining room. To see how our journey began see Heather's original dining room below...

When we entered Heather's dining room she expressed she wanted the following

- a new chandelier
- updated wall color
- new china cabinet
- shiplap wall installation
- and some other farmhouse feel good decor

A list of the interior home services we offer can be here found here

We decided on a duo of neutral colors on the walls and shiplap to help give Heather's dining room a fresh country look. Ambience is everything. Updating the chandelier allows the new chandler to become a beautiful rustic focal point hanging over this charming old wooden farm table.

We updated Heather's china cabinet with a beautiful painted buffet. This buffet is simple but effective. It still allows for a vast amount of storage with some charming farmhouse decor on the top. Decor does not have to cost a lot of money to look expensive. A mix of metals, touches of gold and faux lavender can turn a modest room into a dazzling design.

Always a delightful reminder that spring is on the way is incorporating greenery into your centerpiece. We worked to create a centerpiece that found the right balance between modern and vintage. A vintage reproduction pot, chippy candlesticks and a galvanized metal riser gives this well-furnished room a hint of genuine vintage-inspired flair. Transforming this dining room was a dream to work on and we are all so happy with the finished product. Let us know what you think below!
