Spring Table Settings
Now that spring has officially arrived we wanted to share how we decided to style some of the farm tables in our shop. We wanted each table to encompass a different theme and color palette. If you weren't ready to throw a dinner party hopefully after you see these table settings you will feel inspired. When setting a table we want the table to feel pretty and simple. You never want to outshine your entree or make your table feel cluttered or distracting.
Neutral Setting
If you are like me than you tend to gravitate towards a neutral palette along with wood chargers. Currently in the shop we have natural wood chargers and these beautiful mango wood chargers. This decorative wood tray available in store and online is a perfect centerpiece as its contents can always be switched out. Each year we like to change it up a bit but currently when we are not using fresh blooms we are loving fresh fruit as a centerpiece.
White and Blue Setting
For us the color blue really alludes to the spring and summer season. We wanted to mix crisp and fresh blue and white, with some natural textures. We decided to add yellow flowers as the centerpiece to capture that farm fresh feel. Instead of using a runner on this table we decided to bring in these wicker placemats. When decorating it is important to remember there is no need to run out to the store and buy a bunch of new pieces. Try to use what you already own and add a few fresh flowers from the supermarket or garden.
Lemon Setting
This market season when traveling to Atlanta lemons were everywhere, and we mean everywhere. Lemon yellow is such a happy color. It is filled with warmth and sunshine. To make the lemon plates really pop we placed a riser in the middle of the table filled with real lemons to act as our centerpiece. As we didn't want everything too yellow we added a mango wood charger under each plate along with a soft yellow, green and white napkin. We opted for a gold tone water glass to keep with the light and airy summer feel.
All of these items can be found online or in Urban Farmhouse Furnishings. We hope to see you soon!
